Donaire in Progress: gastronomic actions
“Donaire in Progress” is more than a series of events; it is an opportunity to immerse yourself in gastronomy in an entirely new way. Specialists in different areas will accompany us in each of our gastronomic activities.
Some are renowned winemakers and chefs, offering an enriching and educational experience. Surrounding ourselves with the best professionals in each area is essential for us, as it allows us to raise our standards and offer the best to our customers.
Wine in Progress: an unforgettable wine-tasting
On August 11, we had the pleasure of inaugurating “Donaire in Progress” with our first event: Wine in Progress – OCAMPO Wine Tasting with Jonatan García.
This event celebrated enology. Attendees could taste the exquisite range of OCAMPO wines and were guided by the renowned Canarian oenologist Jonatan García.
The presentation began with a tasting of OCAMPO wines from 12:00 to 13:30. Jonatan García shared his knowledge and passion for wine, offering us an educational and enriching experience. Alongside him, our sommelier Paula Andrea Rojas contributed her expertise, ensuring that each wine was appreciated at its best.
A special menu for a particular day
Our chef, Jesús Camacho, dazzled with a menu worthy of the most demanding palates. With careful selection, each dish was paired with its perfect OCAMPO wine. The result? A feast in the mouth where the flavors danced in perfect harmony.
The menu included Canarian prawns with chickpeas paired with OCAMPO Listán Blanco 2022. Next was a delicious Cherne with tapioca casserole and sea lettuce accompanied by Ocampo Vidueño 2022.
The event culminated with a signature dessert: Mont Blanc “one hour less,” fried plantain, yogurt, and sesame paired with Privat Atelier Gran Reserva 2018. Each bite was an experience, and the combination of flavors and textures left all attendees wanting more.
