The GF Victoria Restaurant receives this recognition after winning the national #MYMICHELINPLAQUEES contest organized by the MICHELIN Guide and Makro.
The recently awarded Donaire restaurant
After earning its first MICHELIN star in the MICHELIN Guide Spain 2025, it has once again been recognized — this time for its creativity and team spirit — by winning the award for the best group photograph in the national #MYMICHELINPLAQUEES contest, organized by the MICHELIN Guide in collaboration with Makro.

As part of the recognition, the restaurant received the MICHELIN Golden Plaque, a special distinction awarded to only two restaurants in all of Spain: one for the most creative image, and another — Donaire — for the best team photo. In the picture, the Donaire team transforms into a symphony orchestra, with chef Jesús Camacho at the front as conductor, baton in hand alongside the MICHELIN plaque, while the rest of the team performs their culinary score with frying pans, a pot, tongs, glasses, and wine bottles. A scene full of humor, elegance, and camaraderie that captivated the organizers of the contest.
“Receiving a MICHELIN star was a dream come true. And for the Guide to now also recognize our most human and creative side as a team fills us with pride and excitement,” says chef Jesús Camacho. “This photo is a way of giving thanks, of laughing together, and of celebrating that, at Donaire, we cook with soul — but also with a lot of heart.”
This new achievement adds to an unforgettable year for Donaire, where creativity, commitment, and teamwork have resulted not only in a MICHELIN star but also in recognition of the unique identity that Donaire brings to gastronomy in the Canary Islands.
